Hello, thank you for asking.

Based on the above information, we understand your concern about the problem you’re having. For your information, ‘hand infection’ or rashes can be caused by a variety of things. These include:

  • Fungal infection like tinea
  • Irritant contact dermatitis: when exposed to substances that can cause skin inflammation
  • Allergic contact dermatitis: when someone has a skin allergy to a substance
  • Psoriasis is a type of autoimmune disease
  • Dishydrotic eczema is a type of eczema

Apart from fungal infection, it is also possible that your skin problems are caused by any of the above conditions. Therefore, that could explain why treating the problems with antifungals shows no improvement. Hence, you are adviced to seek a professiona’s help to solve the problem before it spreads and worsens.

To know the exact cause of the problem you are facing, more information is needed before a conclusion can be drawn. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you refer this problem to your doctor. Please click on this link (DoctorOnCall) to speak with us in person online. Thank you.
