Test for Covid-19: Flu, Cough, Sore Throat, Headache

Hello. I am a 18-year old woman. I already have sinusitis since I was 12 years old. I am currently under quarratine as I just came back from United Kingdom 9 days ago. After 3 days, I experienced flu, cough, sore throat and headache. When I went to Serdang Hospital, they didn’t let me get tested as I didn’t have a fever. As days past by, my flu had worsen and so did my cough. I travelled to KLIA using Emirates, and just a few days a go, Emirates released a statement of which flights got affected by the Covid-19 and one of my flights is affected as a few people were tested positive. Should I get tested?

Greetings!

Thank you for your question. Given the fact that your flight carried someone with positive COVID-19 status, you are encouraged to do the test. Please state this fact when you visit the designated hospitals. You may visit the hospitals in this list for a COVID-19 screening test. (Designated Hospital for COVID-19).

Please practice proper cough and sneeze hygiene. Wear your face mask and wipe down surfaces you have touched with disinfectants. This is to protect others in your house from getting the infection if that’s the case.
