Test positive for covid
its actually my boyfriend who tested positive and I am trying to helo hum out.
He has symptoms such as:
- lost smelling sense
- cant taste
- headache
- mild sore throat
He is currently under home quarantine. What can he do to recover himself from home?

According to the Ministry of Health, close contact refers to either:
- Health care-associated exposure, including providing direct care for 2019-nCoV patients, working with health care workers infected with 2019-nCoV, visiting patients or staying in the same close environment of a 2019nCoV patient.
- Working together in close proximity or sharing the same classroom environment with a with 2019-nCoV patient
- Traveling together with 2019-nCoV patient in any kind of conveyance
- Living in the same household as a 2019-nCoV patient

According to the My Sejahtera application, your status will be classified as one of the following:
- Low Risk - Individuals with low risk of COVID-19 infection.
- Casual Contact - Individuals who were likely exposed to another person infected with COVID-19.
- Close Contact - Individuals who have been exposed to other individuals infected with COVID-19.
- Person Under Surveillance (PUS) - Individuals who are at risk of being infected with COVID-19. For example individuals with a history of traveling abroad within the last 14 days.
- Suspected Case - Individuals who are at risk of being infected with COVID-19, for example, individuals with a history of traveling abroad or have attended mass gatherings within 14 days before the onset of symptoms
- Confirmed Case - Individuals tested positive for COVID-19.

In the meantime, your friend must learn to adapt and take extra precautionary measures for example by keeping a safe distance and using a face mask to get out of his insolation zone at home. Always remember to hydrate yourself and be extra vigilant on the psychological toll of having a self-quarantine. Talk and chat to a person via the digital platform every now and then to keep himself company.
