Hello and thank you for using our services

We understand that you are concern about taking the COVID-19 vaccination while having a history of allergy towards tetracycline, is this correct? Don’t worry, we will try and help you with this matter.

For your information, allergy to tetracycline is not a contraindication to the COVID-19 vaccine. People who have allergy to penicillin, antibiotics or any medication is not at risk if they get the COVID-19 vaccination.

However, if you have any history of immediate onset anaphylaxis to multiple classes of drugs or unexplained anaphylaxis, it is better that you get further confirmation from a doctor or specialist , as well as report to the medical officer at your Vaccination Center, to prevent any serious complications .

You can also contact the Crisis Preparedness and Response Center (CPRC) or JKJAV.
