I ordered iPad casing through shopee that was delivered from China. I received the parcel on 25/2/2020. I think on 9/3/2020, my daughter having a slight fever n cough. I felt anxious and worried. But she is active and recovering. Is there any possiblity that the Corona virus can be spread through parcel?

Thank you for your question. I understand that you are worry about your daughter’s risk of being infected with COVID19. For your information, vCOVID-19 virus can survive up until 24 hours on an object or surface. If the parcel took more than 24 hours to reach Malaysia, it will not survive. Nevertheless, for safety reason please disinfect the object. Since she has developed slight fever and cough, I would encourage you to answer this quiz on Risk Assessment for COVID-19 to evaluate her health status in regards to this disease.
