Covid 19 - Shake hand with a person is Covid 19 positive

My Brother in law just diagnosed with Covid 19 positive yesterday.
He was not well since last Saturday.
Last Saturday my family had dinner at his place, but he was in the room all the time. My son just told me that yesterday that before we when back home last Saturday, he did shake hand (salam) with my brother in law.

So far my son looks ok… he has no fever, cough or flu.
Do I need to take him for check up or do a Covid 19 screening test?

Greetings, thank you for your question.

Based on the above information, we understand your concern about the problem you’re having. In order to decide wether your son should visit a doctor or not, we need to assess his risk profiles. He can answer a simple quiz to assess his risk (Assess Your Risk Here).

If you think your son experiences one of COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath), he is advised to do a medical checkup as we need an objective value to reassess the symptoms.
