Covid-19 Vaccination - Vaccine Hesitancy
I’m really worried with my parent, as he seems like accepting anti-vaxxers’ points. He was in his 50’s (People with high risk) and he never listen to people, even advices from medical-related officers about advantages of vaccination. How should i, a non-medical person, can persuade him? Can i ask for a one-on-one consultation between my parent and a doctor (esp with hight status) to convince him?

We understand your concern regarding your father’s stand and opinions regarding the false claims on the vaccine. At this point of time, what you can do is you may do some of these methods:
- Showing him a video of a doctor or medical personnel explaining about the vaccine in simple terms
- Explain the importance of the vaccine to him especially if he is having chronic diseases
- If you know a person who already received the vaccine, you can ask the person to explain the vaccination process and side effects personally to your father
- Find an article debunking COVID-19 vaccine’s myths
