Through the question and statement you gave on the above section, you parents are having fever and body ache after getting vaccinated for the COVID-19, is this correct?
For your information, COVID-19 vaccine side effect are minimal and only last for a few days such as:
- Soreness at the site of the injection
- Headaches
- Muscle aches
- Chills
- Mild fever
- Fatigue
If they are having serious side effects please contact your health care provider immediately:
- Allergic reactions
- Difficulty breathing
I would highly recommend you to speak with our doctor via teleconsultation who can assess your parents symptoms and offer further advice.
Or you can contact the Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC). Other than that, do practice good hand hygiene and wear your face mask in public.
