Im trying to conceive

My period is regular, its just sometime the date will be before or aft the expecting date, will be one or two days. Well, Im trying to conceive actually. Im expecting for my period, I do have the period pain but there’s no period and know what, when I checked at home using the pregnancy kit, its shows negative.

Hey and thanks for submitting the question. I understand it must be difficult situation for you to deal with. Maybe we can discuss a little bit more about the negative pregnancy tests or few reasons that cause your period to come in late. Firstly, low hormone levels. If you are currently trying to become pregnant, there is good news that you may still be pregnant.

This is because sometimes the levels of the pregnancy hormone like human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) early in pregnancy they are not yet high enough for a urine pregnancy test to become positive.

A female’s cycle can vary to each other, so if you conceived later in your next cycle, your hormone levels might not be high enough at the time that you missed the period. If you think you may be pregnant after you missed a period but when you used a pregnancy strip a negative result came out on your pregnancy test, wait a few days.

Then, try to repeat the test again. If you continue to miss your period cycle, try to talk to your local GP to rule out any possible complications. It is rare, but sometimes a condition called as ectopic pregnancy can presents as a negative on a pregnancy strip. The prevalence of ectopic pregnancy occurs in less than 3 % in all cases of ectopic pregnancies.

Look for doctor’s advise if your pregnancy test is negative and if you experience these kind of symptoms such as severe pain that is located on your lower part of abdomen, dizziness or headache, spotting on your panties or vaginal bleeds. Sometimes patient with ectopic pregnancy can presents with nausea and vomiting as well.
