Just returned from the UK a week ago and had flu symptoms
Hi, I’m 21 years old and i recently flew back from the UK on the 22nd of March. I’ve been self quarantined since i came back and in the past week i developed a mild fever, cough, sore throat, runny and congested nose. the symptoms that were persistent were only the congested nose so i assumed it was sinus and didn’t get tested. i recently found out that someone on my flight just got tested positive, and i’m not sure if i should get tested (since i have no symptoms anymore now except for a runny nose). should i get tested anyway?

Hello. Thank you for the question. For your information, it is recommended for those who have symptoms and just recently traveled to countries that are heavily affected by the COVID-19 or having close contact with someone who is a confirmed case of COVID-19. Because you had similar symptoms and traveled with someone who is a confirmed case of COVID-19, you are considered as a close contact and have to get tested.
