Pregnancy bleeding (possibility of miscarriage)

Hi, i am 24 years old and currently 10 weeks pregnant (supposedly), but on 20 March I went to the ER due to bleeding. We did an ultrasound on the inside of my uterus, and were only able to see an empty GS aging around 6weeks (supposedly almost 9 weeks that time). Doctor put me on another appointment dated 3rd April to do another scanning as she said, there are 2 possibilities, if yolk sac appears inside the GS on second scanning means there has been miscalculation of age of pregnancy but if there’s no yolk sac, miscarriage has happened. She also asked me to monitor my bleeding for any clot that looks like a sac or anything. So after my visit, i experienced light to medium bleeding up until 26 march with no pain. On 27 i started to feel severe cramps/contractions i couldnt stand straight. Yesterday i counted my frequent use of overnight pads, and i used around 5 overnight pads per day (all are fully covered with blood), from 27 up until today. I found blood clots that are bigger than usual but still does not look like a sac maybe because i’m not sure how it would look like. My question, is this heavy bleeding normal? Do i need to go to the ER again or just wait for my appointment? Am i allowed to take any painkillers to relieve this pain?

Hi there.

From the situation you’ve told me above, I encourage you to go to hospital as soon as possible since you’ve bleed too much and there might be probability that you had miscarriage. So, prompt management are needed before your condition deteriorate. please refer yourself to nearest ED and let them manage your pain and bleeding.
