Chicken pox in pregnancy

My wife is pregnant at 29 weeks. And she currently having whole body rashes for the past 2 days. I think it might be chicken pox since she never had it before. Is there any complications to her or the baby if it is chicken pox?
And is she allowed to go for he antenatal check up at the moment? Because im worried that it may infect other pregnant mothers at the clinic. Does she need to go to the hospital?

Hi there! Thank you for your question.

First and foremost, chicken pox in pregnancy requires urgent treatment as it may lead to complication to the baby. I advise you to bring your wife immediately to the clinic.
