Covid symptom or anxiety?

Good day to Miss/Mr/Madam,
Right now i am a close contact to a poitive covid 19 patient. Yesterday, i have chills on my hand and i can’t focus in my homework and also revision for my test. Today, i experience little bit sweaty hand,lips dry, still lack of focus on my homework and have urge to cough but the throat have no itchy or anything. I thought a lot the whole time about many things and need to responsible for housework, health of my family, homework and also test. I’m scared to get the illness. I would like to ask whether this symptom is covid-19 or just i thought a lot which cause this to happened?

According to the situation that you have described, I do urge you to continue monitoring your health and please take necessary precautions to protect yourself from the virus. According to WHO, the common symptoms of COVID-19 infection are:

Most common symptoms:

  • fever
  • dry cough
  • tiredness

Less common symptoms:

  • aches and pains
  • sore throat
  • diarrhoea
  • conjunctivitis
  • headache
  • loss of taste or smell
  • a rash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes

Serious symptoms:

  • difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • chest pain or pressure
  • loss of speech or movement

These are the guidelines from the Centre of Disease Control (CDC):
