Greetings and thank you for asking us a question.

We understand your concern about the problem you are having which is knee pain. For your information, pain and crunching sounds in the knee can be caused by several things and factors :

  • Excessive use of the knee such as doing daily activities that involve excessive movement of the knee joint. This will cause the fluid in the knee joint to become thin and cause the surface of the joint bone to become easily eroded and fragile.
  • Lack of nutrients in the body or dehydration that can affect the secretion of fluid in the knee joint.
  • Traumatic injury of the knee
  • Nerves injury in the knee
  • Muscle tension or knee joint problems due to lack of electrolytes in the body
  • Auto-immune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis that can cause inflammation of joints such as at the knees, wrists and ankle
  • Gout, a type of disease in which your body contains high uric acid.
  • Inflammation of the knee joint caused by injury or bacterial infection. (Often it will occur on one side of the knee only).

We recommend you to get a consultation from a doctor if this problem worsens and persists to the point of interfering with your daily activities. In the meantime, we advise you to adopt a balanced and nutritious diet such as vegetables and fruits that are high in natural vitamins and nutrients.
