Erectile Dysfunction / possibility to get a prescription

Dear Dr,

I am a male, 43 years old with a height of 185cm and a weight of 100kg.

Since a year I am facing a erectile dysfunction but feel ashamed to consult a doctor in person as it’s something which is hard to bear and face in my age.

Is there a chance to get a prescription for Viagra or Cialis on doc? Are the generics having their same impact if mg dosage is the same? Which product is most recommendable with the most less side effects in consumed on a long term basis?

Looking forward to your reply and thank you all in advance for the opportunity here to express my problems.

Kind regards,
