Hi. I m 28 yrs old female. I have flu few days before. And now i cannot smell anything things but can taste. Is it possible I had covid?
Thank you for your question. For your information, a blocked nose or flu can affect your sense of smell. This is because the mucus blocks your smell receptors. Hence, you may have difficulty in smelling and even tasting as your sense of smell is related to your sense of taste. According to WHO, the common symptoms of COVID-19 infection are:
Loss sense of taste and smell can be one of the symptoms also, but it is difficult to identify if you have COVID-19 through symptoms alone.
