First and foremost, we truly understand your concerns regarding your symptoms and other health problems you might be facing. There are several types of headaches, and also many ways of treating them. If you feel like there is a tight band like pain across your head, you might be experiencing what is known as tension headache. These type of headaches are common, especially in young adults. It does not mean that these headaches should be overlooked, you might be under a lot of stress or pressure, which you yourself might not realise, which may also explain your recent hair loss issue. These headaches are a lot different to migraines, which is characteristically one sided, and comes with a throbbing sort of pain. if migraines go untreated, it may leave the sufferer in a debilitating state, often times unable to perform work or go to school.

Tension headaches can be caused by food, activities and stressors. This may include, alcohol, smoking, cold, staring at the computer screen for too long, lack of sleep, caffeine and respiratory tract infections. High blood pressure is not known to cause headaches unless you are having malignant hypertension.

In order for us to provide you with an accurate choice of treatment and management, we need additional details to explore further into your current complaints.
