It feels like something is stuck in my throat and I can not get the feeling to go away

I am a 19 year old male. When I was eating yesterday it felt like something got stuck in my throat but I can still breathe. I have tried drinking water but it won’t go away. I was wondering if it is possible for something to be stuck in your throat but you can still breathe.
