Recurring knee pain on my 6yo son

My son has been experiencing recurring knee pain in his left knee recently. It only occurs around evening leading up to bedtime & he’s having difficulty in sleeping because of the pain.

He sometimes woke up in the middle of the night due the pain. But come morning, the pain is no longer there & it’ll go off for a day or two before he has it again.

Should i be concern? We’ve seen an ortho when he was 4yo but it was concluded as growing pain due to the fact that he hasn’t form the arch on his feet? I don’t quite understand but the issue didn’t persist any longer after that. I mean not as frequent and it went off after a while.

After that it sometimes appear but only after each intense physical activities during day time. Now after not getting it for sometime, the pain started appearing again despite not engaging in any hardcore physical activities.

Should i bring him to see an ortho again?
