Warm sensation in feet

Hi I am a 20 years old female, I had experienced a sudden heat sensation in my left foot for the last two days. The feeling lasts for about 3-5 seconds each time and happened about 5-10 times a day? I did feel numbness in my left foot once yesterday. Oh and I didn’t have my normal periods since I was 16, I went to the doctor and he said it’s normal for me (hormonal imbalance and maybe abit overweight? I am 154cm and 63kg) so I usually only have 2-3 periods a year. But after I take the evening primrose oil in July this year, I have my normal periods back for August and September then my period is abnormal again, that is I haven’t have my period until now (idk if this is related to my hot feet but I am just saying in case you need to know) So what exactly is the problem and do I need to worry about it? Thank you.

Through the question and statement you gave on the above section, i completely understand your concern over this matter. For your information, the most common cause of warm feet is diabetes and it might cause numbness due to nerve damage. But there are a few causes of that can cause your condition, for example:

  • nutritional deficiency
  • hypothyroid
  • infectious disease as HIV and syphilis
  • loss of nerve function
  • excessive alcohol use causing nerve damage
  • peripheral artery disease
  • tarsal tunnel syndrome
