If the travelers from high risk COVID-19 area (Japan, Korea, Italy, Hong Kong, China) do not want to conduct self risk assessment, is there any concern from the Health Authority Malaysia ? Will those coming back from high risk countries eg Italy, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong & China be mandatory be issued home quarantine for 14 days during entry to Malaysia?
Is it mandatory for travelers from high risk countries to perform self risk assessment ?
Thank you for asking question. For your information, the quarantine is required when you experiencing the symptoms of cough, fever or sore throat. If you didn’t experience the symptoms, the quarantine is not mandatory. The self risk assessment is not mandatory but it may act as a guidance for the travellers to assess their condition.
