Daily water intake. Whether I overdrank or not

Hi doctors, i’m 22 y/0 women, weight 82 kg and an office worker. Just want to know wether is it okay if i drank 4 to 5 liter a day ? Or i overdrank ?

For your information, many health workers recommend people to drink water 3-4 L per day despite the weight of someone. Certain people may need more water such as those who living in hot season country. Drink too much water can cause a medical condition known as water intoxication. These are the symptoms of the intoxication:

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Headache
  • Confusion

If you didn’t experience the symptoms above, and you feel comfort with your water intake, then no need to worries much. Some people might need more water than others.
