Dizziness/spinning sensation that doesn’t go away

My mother is a 70 years old woman, and she has been having dizziness, spinning sensation especially when she move her head to the right or left. She will straight away feel a mild to severe dizziness feeling. Due to that, she tend to restrict her head movement, and making sure she doesn’t turn her head in a quick motion as it will trigger the dizziness/spinning sensation. The issue has been on going for more than a week now, and we haven’t been able to go to the clinic for a checkup due to fear of covid-19. Please advise.
