Double Masking Enquiry
Hi! I want a confirmation. If I’m using 4 ply mask, do I need to double masking too?

We understand your concern is on mask-wearing techniques and whether you need double masking.
Double masking is meant to improve filtration of the respiratory droplets - as you know, COVID-19 is spread when someone with the virus talks, coughs or sneezes.
Also, it can massively improve the fit of masks on your face as many types of masks do not fit perfectly on your face. The outer mask can press against the edges of the inner mask, sealing the sides so that air does not escape from the sides easily.
Therefore, to answer your question - Yes, it is advised that double masking is practised, even with a 4 ply mask. Extra security is always better!
