Hi. I am 26 years old and I did not travel anywhere outside of Malaysia. I am currently having dry cough. It started about 5 days ago. I was diagnosed with allergic (itchy throat with cough, swelling around neck, precisely at throat area). After taking the given medicine, the itchiness and swelling were gone, but the dry cough remained. Now I am having cough (with phlegm). The cough is getting worse. I am not having flu or fever. Should I be concerned about COVID-19 and get myself checked?
Hi there. Thank you for your question.
First and foremost, I understand your concern regarding this issue since there’s an outbreak of coronavirus. I found that you had symptom of dry cough before, was treated but the dry cough still persist. Apart from that you have no other symptoms.
So now you’re concern and wondering if you should get yourself checked. So before anything else, we should assess your risk profile. It can be done through this link , Assess Your Risk. At the end of the test, you will receive a result and please act accordingly.
