Hi i am a female having fever and cough since last 3 days…should i need to test covid -19?

For you information, WHO listed common symptoms for COVID-19 infection as follows:

  • Fever (more than 37.5 degrees celcius)
  • Fatigue
  • Cough
  • Aches and pains
  • Sorethroat
  • Headaches
  • Shortness of breath

However, as you may already aware, these symptoms are not specific to COVID-19 but can be presented in other conditions such as in common flu and other infections by bacteria or other viruses.

Besides COVID-19, fever and cough can be due to various health conditions:

  • allergic rhinitis
  • sinusitis
  • Pneumonia
  • Other viral infection of the upper respiratory tract
