I having sore throat and mild fever with shivering at night

Hi,I’m male 46yo. For the pass few days I had mild sore throat (no swallow difficulty but feeling irritating on right side wall of my tongue) & chilling and shivering at night. I went to clinic at 27 march. Doc said I had mild fever 37.5 with swollen throat and prescribed me antibiotic cefuroxime axetil 250mg but now still having chilling at night and the throat still as before. No contact to covid 19 people & no travel oversea. What should I do next?

Thank you for the question. For your information, sore throat and mild fever could be due to:

  • Tonsilitis
  • Pharyngitis
  • Dehydration during hot season
  • Common cold
