Lump on arm with bruise

I noticed a lump on my forearm with purple dots(starting of a bruise). I don’t remember knocking or injuring my arm. The next day the bruise grew and today is the fourth day and the bruise is fading but the lump is still there. It’s a small pea sized movable lump. Could it be from an injury?
