Morning after pill usage

Hello! I just wanted to ask how many emergency contraceptives/morning after pill (Ella 30 mg) can I take in a month? Is it okay for me to take more than 2 per month? If I do consumer more than mine per month, would it decrease its effectiveness?

First and foremost, we truly understand your concerns regarding your symptoms and other health problems you might be facing. You are only advised to take one dose of morning after pill per menstrual cycle. These pills may cause side effects and cause menstrual irregularites if taken more than once. These side effects includes sore breast, bleeding and more. The effectiveness would not reduce with increased use. If you have found yourself using the emergency contraception more than once in a month, you should consider a proper oral contraceptive instead.
