Would like to ask If taking the norethisterone tablets safe for HPV carrier? Taking the pills will worsen the HPV? Or activate them?

Hello and good afternoon.
Thank you for your question.

Based on your question, I understand that you are worried about your problem. I will try to help you.

For your information, the International Agency for Research on Cancer of the World Health Organization discovered that prolonged use of the oral contraceptive pill increased the risk of cervical cancer by up to fourfold, but only in women who have the human papillomavirus (HPV).

Some studies may have found a possible correlation between long term usage of Norethisterone and venous thromboembolism. However, these cases are very rare and would be associated with multiple underlying factors such as a history of blood disorder.

Therefore, I strongly encourage you to consult a doctor for further information. You can contact our doctor online for further information and treatment.
