How to use emergency pills correctly?

I’ve recently bought morning after pill (postinor-2) and I’ve already read through online articles and researched on how to take it correctly before planning to use it. However, one of my friends who used to take it told me that she had been taking two pills at once instead of taking first pill right after unprotected intercourse and took the second pill 12 hours later as that was what her pharmacist told her on how to use it. Am I wrong or both ways are correctly used?

Hi and thank you for asking us

Through the question and statement you gave on the above section, i completely understand your concern over this matter. For your information, both ways are correct. You can either take both at the same time or take them 12 hours apart. But the most effective way is to take it right after you have unprotected sex.
