Reducing Risks for Covid

I am working in a restaurant. I take all the necessary precautions while working but am still worried as I live with my family. So I decided to quarantine myself in my room when they are home. If I do have covid and I don’t know, does it spread if I come out of my room when they aren’t at home (I will wash my hands before touching anything and if necessary wear a mask) - would this be a good idea?

Greetings!

Thank you for your question. I understand that you are worried about contracting the COVID-19. I would encourage you to answer this quiz on Risk Assessment for COVID-19 to evaluate your health status in regards to this disease. After completing this quiz, you will be classified into several categories. Further instructions will be given at the end of the quiz. Please act accordingly.

If an asymptomatic person with COVID is usually isolate him/herself and at the same time would take the necessary precautions, then the risk of spreading the virus to your family would be greatly reduced.
