Swollen lymph nodes for 4 months
Hi my age is 21 years old and I have this swollen lymph nodes behind my neck just below my ear and there is no pain ,or any color change or growths in size, the size of it is 1 cm long . I don’t have a fever ,sore throat or weight lost.

There are no definite answer to this unless the lump is examined or looked by the doctor. Again there are several reasons as to why there is a lump or swelling behind your neck such as:
- Cyst such as sebaceous cyst
- Lipoma - a grwoth of fat tissue
- An abscess - a lump of white cells and bacteria after infection
- Swollen lymph nodes - from infection or problems with white blood cells
- Acne
- Skin tag - which is an excessive growth of skin
