For your information Betadine is an antiseptic which kills bacteria. It is commonly used to disinfect wounds or applied as a cream on wound. Econazine is an antifungal cream which targets fungal growth. Hence, the latter is more efficacious in the elimination of fungal infection eventhough in some research, Betadine has proven to reduce fungal infection to a certain extent.
