Can I switch to a nebulizer on my own or do I need a prescription?
I’ve been using inhaler for a long time and recently I find it’s hard for me to use inhaler when I’m having an asthma attack. Can I switch to a nebulizer? Do I need a prescription or I can just buy it in the pharmacy? Thanks for answering!

Regarding nebulizer, it is not a recommended treatment for asthma at home. This is because, it might delayed or hinder early treatment and might cause lethal to the patient. Hence, we won’t prescribed nebulizer to asthma patient.
