Greetings! Thank you for your questions.

First and foremost, we truly understand your concerns regarding emergency contraceptive pill / morning after pills. For your information, contraceptive pills works to prevent pregnancy by delaying ovulation. It should be noted that side effects that often occur after using morning after pill include nausea, vomiting, bleeding/ menstruation problems, breast pain, headache, dizziness, fatigue and can last up to two days. Therefore, these symptoms your girlfriend is experiencing could be a side effect of morning after pill.

Enjoy a beautiful moment with your loved one safely.

A little more info, morning after pill is a kind of emergency planner. This means that you are not encouraged to use it regularly. Maximum usage is one per second menstrual cycle. To plan and prevent pregnancies on a regular basis, you are encouraged to start using other pregnancy planning methods such as implants, IUDs, contraceptives and more.

See a doctor if:

  • If your menstruation is 5 days late or unusually such as too much or bright red.
  • If you are still worried that you are pregnant.
  • Sudden and unexplained problems and pain in the lower abdomen with late menstruation
