Should I go for a covid home test although I have contact with a possible C2 level person 3 days ago?

I have a contact with a possible C2 level person on 3 days ago. Should I get tested now even I have no symptoms?

Greetings!

Thank you for your question. Since the person you were in contact with is not confirmed with COVID-19, you are not required to do a test. You should monitor for any development of symptoms for now. According to WHO, the common symptoms of COVID-19 infection are:

  • Fever (more than 37.5 degrees celcius)
  • Fatigue
  • Cough
  • Aches and pains
  • Sorethroat
  • Headaches
  • Shortness of breath

You are encouraged to answer the quiz on Risk Assessment for COVID-19 to evaluate your health status in regards to this disease.
