Boil/Lump Swelling Near Anus

Noticed a small swollen lump that is red and warm near the anus. Occasionally, it discharges puss. Initially I thought it was a pimple but the lump has been there for about a month now.

Some articles say that it could be anal abscess. But would like to get the expert opinion on this.

Currently, I don’t have the following any symptoms tied to that:

  • Fever/Chill
  • Constipation

The only symptoms I’m facing related to the lump:

  • Discharge of pus( Occasionally)
  • Redness and tenderness of the pus
