Hello!

Thank you for your question. I understand your concern regarding COVID-19. For your information symptoms of COVID-19 infection and other illnesses are very similar. According to WHO, the symptoms are:

  • Fever (more than 37.5 degrees celcius)
  • Fatigue
  • Cough
  • Aches and pains
  • Sorethroat
  • Headaches
  • Shortness of breath

Based on your symptoms of fever and body pain, you may answer the quiz on Risk Assessment for COVID-19 to evaluate your health status in regards to this disease. After completing this quiz, you will be classified into several categories. You may be of low risk in contracting the virus if you have no recent travel history to high risk countries and close contact with positive cases of COVID-19.

Besides COVID-19 infection, your presenting symptoms can be caused by other health problems such as:

You may consult a MOH doctor by clicking Ask Doctor at the Ministry of Health website (COVID-19 Portal) to ask any health issues related to COVID-19 starting from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
