Fever, sore throats and sweating at night
Hi doctor, i am 26 years old woman. The fever and sore throat start from yesterday. Especially i will sweating at night.
My aunty got contact with the positive patient’s wife and daughter on 13 march. And i live with my aunt. But already over 3 weeks i start to have the symptoms. Should i go for the test?

We understand your worries especially with the development of symptoms indicative but not exclusive of COVID-19. If your aunty and her daughter is not positive cases, you are highly likely to be of low risk to have the virus.
For you information, WHO listed common symptoms for COVID-19 infection as follows:
- Fever (morea than 37.5 degrees celcius)
- Fatigue
- Cough
- Aches and pains
- Sorethroat
- Headaches
- Shortness of breath
Apart from that, sore throat and fever can be due to many health conditions:
- Influenza infection
- Dengue fever
- Bacterial Pharyngitis
- Inflammation
- Tonsillitis
