How to reduce Vertigo symptoms

I started to have Vertigo about a year ago, so far it has been few attacks but not too serious. Now i m having it again. It has been few days but i still can move around do my daily actovities. Its just every small movements i make its like being on a moving boat. What can i do to reduce the symptoms i.e. dizzyness n nausea. Do have any physical exercise to avoid this illness.
