I am a frequent traveller. My last trip was to Malta and I am flying tomorrow to Spain. But my body aches are killing me. I need longer sleeps and I have trouble waking up on time for meetings. Dr can I get some pain killers or supplements for strength?

Good afternoon and thank you for letting me know your kind question. Before we go any further, do you have any underlying medical issues or health problem before? How long does the pain or body ache lasted? Do you experience any trauma or muscle injury? Do you have trouble with your sleep? It must be difficult for you to handle the daily activities but having lack of energy.

With regards to the body pain, you can get over the counter pain killer medication such as panadol or paracetamol or even NSAIDS medication such as diclofenac and ibuprofen. They will act to reduce the inflammation that occur in our body and thus reducing the pain. For energy wise, there are a lot of options for you out there. Firstly, you will always has to try caffeine!

It revs up your body metabolism and makes you feel like you have an extra physical and mental energy. You can pick a cup of coffee at the coffee shop or else you can try tea for people who do not take coffee. If you are a sportsman, then you should always familiar with an isotonic drink such as 100 plus or redbull. These 2 types of drinks may give you an extra energy to face the real life challenge.

It can be obtained from any shops or supermarkets. Getting B12 vitamin from meat and poultry might be helpful as well. But if you are a vegan (which does not consume dairy products or meat or other animal product), then you might need a B12 supplements that can be bought from any nearby pharmacy.
