First and foremost, we truly understand your concerns regarding your symptoms and other health problems you might be facing. For your information, locked knee occurs when when a person is unable to either bend or straighten their knee. There are two types

  • Pseudo locked knee. It occurs when severe knee pain triggers the knee muscles to spasm and contract.
  • True locked knee. It occurs when something physically prevents the knee from straightening. When a person has true locked knee, their knee joint gets stuck in one position and cannot move at all.

From your complaints, we believe that your condition may have multifactorial causes such as:

  • Meniscal tear
  • Patella dislocation
  • Knee joint inflammation
