Covid-19 symptoms suspecting
Hello Dr, im having flu, headache and cirit birit last few days, not that serious, but throat dry, a little cough, and stomach not really feeling well today. Not sure is it caused of just contacted with my friend that was sick (normal fever). She was recovered from fever d. But im afraid because my symptoms are matched with Covid-19 TT

Thank you for your question. For your information, according to WHO the common symptoms of COVID-19 infection are:
- Fever (more than 37.5 degrees celcius)
- Fatigue
- Cough
- Aches and pains
- Sorethroat
- Headaches
- Shortness of breath
Based on your symptoms of flu, headache and cough, you may answer the quiz on Risk Assessment for COVID-19 to evaluate your health status in regards to this disease. After completing this quiz, you will be classified into several categories. You may be of low risk in contracting the virus if you have no recent travel history to high risk countries and close contact with positive cases of COVID-19.
Besides COVID-19 infection, your presenting symptoms can be caused by other health problems such as:
- Other bacterial or viral infection
- Asthma
- Allergic Rhinitis
- Pneumonia
- Tuberculosis
- COPD
- Food poisoning
- Gastritis
- Food intolerance like spicy food, lactose intolerant, etc.
