Dizziness and headache
Hi, 2 days ago, my mum had Migraine and dizziness. She went to see doctor and got some headache medication. There are improvement on Migraine but dizziness (can’t stand properly) still goes on, dizziness does not appear very often, it will appear randomly. Is it symptom or Covid 19? Does she need to go for a test? She didn’t go out from home since MCO

For you information, WHO listed common symptoms for COVID-19 infection as follows:
Fever (more than 37.5 degrees celcius)
Fatigue
Aches and pains
Sore throat
Shortness of breath
As listed above, the symptoms are very vague and mimic other disease as well. Moreover, dizziness alone is not indicative of COVID-19.
On top of that, the needs of screening test depends on your risk profile. To assess your risk, you are encouraged to answer the quiz on Risk Assessment for COVID-19 to evaluate your health status in regards to this disease. After completing this quiz, you will be classified into several categories with advice on next appropriate steps. This initiative is to reduce crowd coming to the hospital for screening in fear of coronavirus infection as well as to avoid you going out of the house unnecessarily.
