First fever and body ache, now flu
Im a women 43 years aged. Last week i had mild fever and now im having flu. Is it normal i cannot smell at all?

For your information, this is only our general impression on why you have such symptoms. It is normal for someone to have reduced sensation of smell when they are having flu due to blocked nose. Once you have recovered, the sensation of smell will return eventually.
Feeling feverish? Check your temperature and get a quick relief.
If you have recovered and the sensation of smell have not recovered, it will need to be investigated further by a doctor.
There are various reason why someone can have reduced sensation of smell other than having flu.
- Nose allergy
- Infection of the nose
- Nasal polyp
- Sinusitis
- Injury to the nose
- Tumor or growth on the nose or brain
- Others: Endocrine problem or medications
