Greetings! Thank you for the question. For your information, the normal body temperature is between 36.5 to 37.5 degree Celsius. When the temperature of the body is higher than that, it means that the body is reacting to a pathogen or when there is inflammation occurs inside the body. Measuring temperature by mouth is more accurate than non contact. Nevertheless, there are various ways to measure temperature such as by ear, rectum and armpit. Different measurement has different level of accuracy. Some of the causes of fever are:

  • Dengue fever

  • Malaria fever

  • Leptospirosis infection

  • Typhoid fever

  • Tuberculosis

  • Tonsilitis

  • Allergic rhinitis

  • Pharyngitis

  • Otitis media

The antibiotics should be taken after meal.
