My daughters always flu and fever, i had consulted pharmacy and they ask me to provide my daughters vitamin c and zinc to boost their immune system. Is that true?

Firstly, it is important to note that continuous flu and fever can be caused by an abundance of problems. Also, fever is a rather subjective complaint as you have not given the temperature reading for your daughter. In general, flu and fever in a 1 year old can be caused by:
- Allergies. This condition usually appear at first without fever, with continuous sneezing, and a family history of such allergies. In this case, immune booster such as vitamin c may help defending against the infection
- Upper respiratory tract infection. This is a condition that can be rather dangerous for a 1 year old as their body is still fragile towards infection. However, if caused by virus, then no medication is available.
