Burning in the stomach

To answer your question, burning sensation on your stomach can be due to
- Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD)
- Gastritis
- Heart attack
- Muscle pain
- Costochondirits
If your problem is due to GERD, my advice apart from taking medication would
- Avoid food that you noticed would trigger the symptoms
- Eat in smaller amount but frequent
- Do not lie down right after meal
- Lifestyle modification - stop smoking, maintain ideal weight
However, if the symptoms persist despite that on top of taking medication, I would suggest you to visit the doctor again.
