Gastritis, Acid reflux, Gerd

Hello doctor. I’m a 19 years old girl that having gastritis since I was 14. I have been burping or belching non-stop for the past few days. I searched on google and it turned out that it means that I’m having acid reflux or even worst maybe GERD. I just want to know is it true about the information that I get and how can I stop this? and what do you suggest? either go to clinic or buy a medicine at pharmacy? Thank you.

For your information, gastritis is referring to inflammation that occur on gastric lining. In long run, gastritis progress into ulcer formation in this will cause pain.

On the other hand, GERD is a short form for Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease. This condition occurs due to the weakening of the lower esophageal spincter. This conditions will cause someone to regurgitate stomach content including stomach acid. When this occur, patient will experience soury taste on the mouth.
